A bit about me…
Hiya! Thanks for visiting.
I’ve been working as a writer (in different guises) for about 10 years. I initially trained as a journalist and wrote editorial content for music sites like Drowned in Sound and Artrocker, among many others, for a long while.
Then I went to university, where I spent 5 glorious years camped in libraries writing about novels. I graduated with a masters degree in American literature from The University of Nottingham in 2023, and since then, I’ve been training and working as a copywriter.
I recently completed a Level 4 Diploma in Copywriting and started helping local businesses craft the perfect words for their branding goals. My job isn’t just to help customers connect with great products, it’s to tell authentic stories with humanity and charm. If that sounds like what you’re after, I’d love to work with you.
In my free time, I love writing fiction and poetry (I was commended for the Foyle’s Young Poet of the Year Award back in 2012!). I have also played in bands since I was a teenager. In 2013 I co-founded the band Do Nothing, and have been lucky enough to travel the world as a touring musician.
